HomeServe recruiting 70 new Customer Advisors to join team at state-of-the-art Nottingham facility


Leading home assistance provider HomeServe has launched a major recruitment drive to find 70 new Claims Advisors and Customer Service Advisors to work at its new Nottingham site after a series of acquisitions led to a huge surge in Customer numbers.

The new staff will all be based at the state-of-the-art Aspect House site, which was officially opened earlier this year and houses HomeServe’s national Gas Training Academy.

At the time the move was hailed by Nottingham City Council as “an important step in the company’s growth and investment in the city.”

And Councillor Sam Webster, portfolio holder for business, education and skills, praised HomeServe for its commitment to providing employment opportunities to local people.

As part of that commitment and to encourage local people to apply for the new roles, HomeServe is holding an open day at Aspect House on July 11, during which anyone arriving with a CV will be guaranteed a meeting with a manager.

HomeServe’s Head of Contact Centre Dom McHale said: “We’re so proud of our growing base in Nottingham and of our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities that we live and work in.

“It’s in our DNA and that’s why we are turning to the people of Nottingham and the East Midlands to help us grow and keep our Customers’ lives moving.

“Aspect House really is a fantastic facility and a great place to work and we’re incredibly excited to see who comes along to the open day. It’s a great chance to meet with our managers and find out a bit more about HomeServe and the Nottingham site.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming around 70 new members of the HomeServe family soon.”

HomeServe moved more than 350 of its People into the new 29,000 sq ft facility at the end of 2017, before training began in January for its national network of Engineers who keep life moving for the company’s 2.2million UK Customers.

The move was supported by Nottingham City Council, which works with HomeServe to ensure staff have a range of travel options to get to work, as well as providing support with recruitment.

In December last year, HomeServe was ranked as one of the top ten companies to work for in the UK by independent careers website Glassdoor.
